Antanas Adomaitis is an exceptional artist, sculptor, woodcarver and painter living and working in Akmenė. However, his greatest creative passion is stone. It is from it that unique sculptures are born, which have become an integral part of the Akmenė region.
The artist creates a lot and in a variety of ways, sensitively reacting to life's current events. Some of his works are valued at tens of thousands of euros, but the author himself has repeatedly admitted that, if he could, he would not part with his works.
Antanas Adomaitis dreams of seeing Akmenė as a land of exceptional people – those who love their land, cherish its history and uniqueness. He talks about the “Akmentiki” community, its unique language, and “Akmentiki arts,” in which the theme of stone is constantly present.
