Two-towered white church of late Baroque in Mosėdis is one of the most beautiful in this region and the oldest in the area. It is built in 1544. The current church was built in 1844. A writer, known public figure Juozas Tumas – Vaižgantas was priest in Mosėdis in 1895-1897. The church and gate of the churchyard are architectural monuments of national importance since 1971.
