From the weekend memories of the "DISCOVER THE COUNTRY!" orienteering competition.
"At the event "Youth Initiative Generator" held on May 8, we had the opportunity to receive funding and implement our initiative - the orientation game "MEET THE CHILD!"
At the end of May and the beginning of June, we prepared for the activity: we collected texts with interesting facts about the sights of our city of Skuodas, thought up tasks and clues, hung QR codes and posters, and on June 13. we started the game. The teams that gathered at the Skuodas District Tourism Information Center received a creative task to come up with a name for their team, and it was really interesting ?. After listening to the rules of the game, the teams each pulled out a piece of paper with a clue leading to the first stop.
At each stop, the participants had to read a description of the place, complete tasks, take pictures of them and send them to the organizers. Upon returning, the teams filled out questionnaires about the places they visited and their history. After calculating the points for the completed tasks and tests, we found out the winners of the game.
1st place – €100 voucher for a lasertron.
2nd place – €100 voucher for 3D glasses.
3rd place – €100 voucher for go-karting.
The losing teams also received a souvenir. No one was disappointed – everyone was happy with the great time they had, the new impressions and the experience they gained.

It was a pleasure to help active city girls with the project. We hope that next year even more Lithuanian youth will participate in the initiative generator.
