Renowned theater actor and director Dainius Kazlauskas makes his feature film directing debut and presents the Lithuanian relationship comedy "(im)perfect liars", based on the Italian film hit.
A group of longtime friends gather around a dinner table, unaware that this evening will change their relationship forever. When one of the friends suggests a game, everyone puts their phones on the table and agrees to publicly share every text message and call they receive. At first, it seems like just a fun joke - after all, everyone is convinced that they have nothing to hide. But soon the evening takes an unexpected turn: each new message reveals carefully guarded secrets, unspoken truths and secret connections. By the end of the evening, it becomes clear that no relationship will ever be the same again.
"(Im)perfect Liars" is a story about friendship, love, secrets, and the price of truth. The film raises the question of how much we really know the people closest to us - and how much we are willing to learn about them.
