Simonas Daukantas' birthday celebration in Lenkimia

Good day,

On behalf of the Lenkimis eldership community, we kindly invite you on October 24 (Saturday) at 11 a.m. to the Column Hall of the Lenkimis branch of the Skuodas District Cultural Center, where a book launch event "Sounding Words in the Granary of Simonas Daukantas" will be held, dedicated to the birthday of Simonas Daukantas.

During the event, we will meet with the creators of the book and distinguished guests, and we will remember the personality of Simonas Daukantas, his achievements, and his significance for the history and culture of our country.

Will share his thoughts:

• Vida Girininkienė – Simonas Daukantas Prize laureate, historian;
• Adelė Daukantaitė – book compiler, writer;
• Gintautas Černeckis is the chairman of the Simonas Daukantas Bibliophile Club.

We believe that this meeting will be a meaningful opportunity to be together, enjoy the new publication, and once again remember and honor our distinguished compatriot.

We sincerely invite you to participate. We would be very pleased to see you at this event.
