The eighth "Lithuanian Classic Film Days" organized by the Lithuanian Film Center will take place on September 15–17 - this year, the premieres of three newly restored classic films will be held in more than 40 locations across Lithuania.
The Lithuanian Film Centre consistently cares about the preservation of Lithuanian film heritage: it digitizes, restores and adapts films for modern screens, as well as ensures their distribution in Lithuania and abroad.
In total, the collection already contains more than 50 restored feature, animated and documentary films, and this year it was supplemented by Vytautas Žalakevičius' tragicomedy "I'm Sorry" (1982), Almantas Grikevičius' melodrama "His Wife's Confession" (1983), and Artūras Pozdniakovas' musical film "Something Happened" (1986).
