International Festival of Women's Choirs and Vocal Ensembles "Vox Maris"

This weekend, October 17-18, the international festival of women's choirs and vocal ensembles "Vox Maris" (Lithuanian: "Voice of the Sea") begins. The annual event brings together women's groups and invites lovers of choral music to new meetings. They will take place not only in the port city, but also in Palanga, Skuodas and Liepaja.

The music of the “Vox Maris” festival will also be heard in Skuodas. On October 18, at 1:00 p.m., the Plungė City Women's Choir “Plungė” (director Rita Urniežienė), the Rietavas Cultural Center Women's Choir “Jūrava” (director Vytaute Jonuškienė) and the Skuodas District Cultural Center Women's Choir “Apuole” will sing at the Holy Trinity Church (Gedimino St. 12).
